Testimonial for Brad Ayres, Legacy Custom Remodeling

Several months ago, my husband and I purchased a new home - complete with its original 1989 formica kitchen cabinets, bathroom "wall mirrors" and family room wet bar.

After pricing kitchen upgrades with a "Big Box" store and a couple of private contractors, we hired Brad Ayres and Legacy Custom Remodeling to take on our kitchen/bathroom/family room project.

Seeing your kitchen taken out down to the studs can be a bit disconcerting, but Brad was always a calming influence. He assured me that we would have walls again. When Brad pulled off the old Formica, he found that the wall behind the sink was covered in mold. I do not believe that the "Big Box" would have just continued the job and replaced all of the sheet rock, without substaintially increasing the price and the time needed to complete the job, but Brad did.

Brad never made me feel that I was a pest, althought I was. He answered my questions, answered my calls and emails and did what needed to be done to get the job done, despite losing a week of work time due to the flooding in March.

Being a general contractor, Brad has the thankless and unenviable job of juggling a variety of craftsmen over a number of jobs, timing the receipt of supplies and having people with the appropriate skills on the right job site at the right time.

Brad was available, responsive, flexible and adaptive. As the project progressed, we made changes that were unforeseen when we started out, and Brad accommodated all of them, with good humor and professionalism.

Additionally, the quality of the products he provided and the work done by his crew was all that I expected it to be, and more.
